Spring Scenery 2010
Those photos were taken on May 9, 2010 in Yawata Highland located in northern part of Hiroshima Prefecture. White birch gives us flesh and clean feeling and is popular subject of poster, calendar, etc. I have taken photos of this forest many times and somewhat boring to take again, then I tried several technics to get new style of images.
1, 6 and 7 are still strait forward and you can find similar photos somewhere else. I utilized bokeh so much in 2 and 3 to make feel of images flesh but wonder if you'll feel as I intended. 4 and 5 are my main trial of this year to utilize dual exposure with standard and super wide-angle lens. Dual exposure technic is good for telephoto or macro photography because we can control bokeh or existence of second exposure subject(s), but it's very difficult with wide-angle lens due to its deep depth of field. So I carefully chose aperture value and exposure compensation of each exposure.
