Yawata Highland is located in the north-western area of Hiroshima prefecture, Japan. The photos displayed here were taken there in April 2003. It was rainy all day long and dense fog was covered the highland in the morning. The first four photos are of a grove of white birches. The other two are of grove of beech trees.
