I visited Hijiyama Park and Takamagahara Cemetery in Hiroshima City, Tokusa Hachiman Temple in Yamaguchi Prefecture where is famous for the long approach covered with plenty of weeping cherries, and finally Nagazo Weeping Cherry located in northern part of Hiroshima Prefecture.

Hijiyama Park and Takamagahara Cemetery in Hiroshima City

1 through 13 are taken in Hijiyama Park. 1 is cherry trees lit by mercury lamp and full moon behind. 4 through 12 are taken short period of time just after sunrise and light was still soft. 14 through 19 are taken in Takamagahara Cemetery where we can enjoy flowers on our eye level because cherry trees are standing 3 - 4 m below walking path. Cherry blossom in a gentle and soft space, is key theme of those works.

Weeping Cherry Trees in Tokusa Hachiman Temple

Approach walk of the temple is covered with many weeping cherries and it's astonishingly beautiful when full in bloom. 20 through 23 are taken in midnight when some lights were lighting flowers. One light was mercury lamp and others were filament lamp and resultantly pale pink cherry blossoms became mystical colors.
24 and 25 are scene of approach walk in early morning. 26 through 31 are weeping cherries I tried to express them noble.

Nagazo's Weeping Cherry

Unfortunately it became full in bloom during weekday and started falling blossoms when I visited there in a weekend. It's not so beautiful and magnificent in below photos as it should be, but I exhibit 5 photos as a memory of seeing the tree aged more than 400 years.
