Winter Flowers 2006
Eranthis, or "Setsubun-so" (see 2005
gallery for brief explanation) closes the flower in the night, and
as sun begins shining, the flower opens petals and looks at the sky. Photos
exhibited here are placed in order of the time from day break through noon
and you'll feel how the flowers act as time goes.
The last 3 photos are of frosted leaves. I took these photos when I
was waiting for opening of eranthis' flowers. It was very chilly morning
and everything were frosted.
